Day/01:Cairo
Arrival at Cairo airport, meet with by our tour manager, who will help you through your immigration and customs formalities, then he will escort you to your hotel for check in and overnight.
Day/02:Cairo Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby to tour some of Egypt's most ancient sites: the ruins of Memphis, Egypt?s first Capital until the end of the Kingdom. Then we drive to Sakkara, the City of the dead with the famous step Pyramid of Djosser.Continue your tour the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world In front of the Pyramid of Chephren, there stand the Sphinx, It is a lion with a Pharaoh?s head thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh Chephren. Return back to your hotel for overnight.(B)
Day/03:Alexandria Drive to Alexandria (3 hours drive) by van after breakfast to visit the Greco Roman Museum, the Pompey's Pillar, made of Aswan rose granite. Continue your tour to the Citadel of Qaitbey fort.Visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa and the Roman Amphitheater, which is built in the 1st century A.D. and uncovered in the late 1950. At the end of the tour you will be visiting the newly opened Library of Alexandria, if you are interested. Return back to Cairo to your hotel for overnight. (B)
Day/04:Cairo Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby to enjoy your tour visiting one of the famous and unique museums the World.The Egyptian Museum, famous for its antiquities from Egypt's Pharaonic period, which includes the fabulous treasures of King Tut-Ankh-Amon.Continue your tour to Old Cairo, visiting the oldest part of Cairo to St. Sergious Church, where the Holy Family was hidden while they were in Egypt. Followed by visiting the oldest Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Visit the medieval Citadel of Salah El- Din, which contains many structures, the most impressive of which is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. At the end of your tour visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is the main tourist bazaar . This pedestrian medieval zone is a shopper's Mecca.Then you will be transferred to Cairo Station for your Sleeper Train to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board train.(B,D)
Day/05:Aswan Breakfast on board train, Upon arrival at Aswan Station you will meet with our local tour manager to transfer you to your hotel for check in and freshen up.Later meeting with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby to start your tour visiting the Philae Temple, the High Dam, and the Granite Quarries. Return back to your hotel for overnight.(B)
Day/06:Abu Simbel Meet with your tour manager after breakfast to transfer you to Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival at Abu Simbel airport you will be met and transferred by Egypt air bus to visit the Great Temple hewn in rock with the four colossal seated statues of the king in front of the entrance. It was dedicated to Amun-Ra, the Horrakhti and Ramses II. After visiting the Temple you will be transferred again to Abu Simbel airport for your flight back to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan airport you will be transferred to your hotel for freshen up. Late afternoon meeting with your tour manager to transfer you to take your motor boat to visit the Nubian Villages to see the local Nubian people. You will be escorted to one of their home for a cup of tea, get to see and experience their unique culture and their way of life. Then continue to a private and special visit to the Nubian Museum that displays Nubian History from the past to present time. Overnight at hotel.(B)
Day/08:Kom Ombo Early morning sail to Kom Ombo. Breakfast on board. Visit the Ptolemaic Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Harories in Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu. Lunch on Board. Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, the best preserved Egyptian Temple. Afternoon tea.Sail to Luxor.Captain's Welcome cocktail (smart casual attire). Dinner on board & disco. Overnight in Luxor .(B, L, D) Day/09:Luxor Breakfast on Board. Cross to the West Bank visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where tombs of 64 Pharaohs and 57 Queens have been discovered, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. Lunch on board. Visit the Karnak Temple, is one of the greates architectural achievements of antiquity. It is a vast complex that embodies the works of many Pharaohs added over the centuries. It was the most important sanctuary in Ancient Egypt then visit the Temple of Luxor, which was started by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board & Galabiya party. Overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)
Day/09:Sharm El Sheikh Disembarkation Cruise after breakfast. Meeting with our local tour manager in Luxor to transfer you to Luxor airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh.Upon arrival at Sharm, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in and freshen up. Rest of the day at leisure for swimming, diving,snorkeling or relaxing by the sea side or your hotel side. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day/10:Sinai Breakfast at hotel. Meeting with your driver to drive through the Sinai Peninsula. It was in the Sinai that Moses received the Ten commadments, Prophet Elyah sought refuge from queen Jezebel and the holy family traveled on their journey into Egypt. Arrival to St. Catherine you will be transferred to visit the St. Catherine Monastery, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century to shelter Christian monks.The Monastery contains the Chapel of the Burning Bush, the mosaic of the transfiguration of Christ and a library containing early Christian manuscripts. Climb Sinai Mountain to enjoy sunset. Then return from St.Catherine back to Sharm by air conditioned van. Overnight at hotel.(B)
Day/11:Sinai Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure for swimming, diving, snorkeling or relaxing by the sea side or your hotel side. Late afternoon meeting with your tour manager to transfer you to Sharm airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo airport you will meet with your tour manager to transfer you to your hotel for check in and overnight.(B)
